Inspired by "Islands", a photography series by Mel Bles, this project explores the shapes and curves of the female form. Starting by illustrating women in a number of life drawing classes, mark making in different mediums inspired the smooth curves found throughout the collection. Developing designs and experimenting with fabric led to a semi sheer collection which pushes the boundaries of female nudity in a vunerable yet empowering way.
